NPE 2018 proved to be another great show for Ray-Tech!
With the 2018 National Pavement Expo ending just two weeks ago, we are still working to catch up on the pile of leads and calls it generated for our equipment.
This year we featured a 6 Ton TMV (Total Maintenance Vehicle) that was purchased by a longtime Ray-Tech equipment owner, Steve McLeod of Asphalt Seal & Repair. Steve was one of the earliest Ray-Tech customers and continues to run multiple Ray-Tech machines throughout the asphalt season.
When asked in September how the season was going for his company, Steve said “We have had three machines out all summer six days a week – sometimes 7. We have had over 3,000 heats on the books all summer long, even now. Good testament to the quality of your machines. GREAT SYSTEM.”
This particular TMV featured a 6 ton reclaimer with hydraulic top loading and hydraulic discharge doors. He also opted for a tool tray to hang under the machine and a trailer hitch for the rear.
In addition to the TMV at the show, we also displayed a Fusion MT joint heater, a 24V Mini Tech and a 3 Ton RC6000 reclaimer with the hydraulic dumping option. All of these machines were a hit this year.
Now that we’re back and getting back to everyone we talked to at the show, we are working on filling our schedule for production. Our build times are creeping further out but we’ve hired on four more welders and have added another assembly bay to handle the increase in sales.
